Rural Woodstock Engagement Photoshoot – Meagan & Scott

Meagan & Scott invited me out to Meagan’s family farm outside of Woodstock for fall engagement photo shoot. It was a beautiful day and I always love a change to get back to a farm – such an important influence on my life.

Meagan’s dad is a long-time family friend (although I didn’t meet her until last year) so that added another really nice element to the shoot. I hope you enjoy them!

Alicia and Conor’s “Day After” Shoot

This afternoon of shooting was great fun (as always with Alicia and Conor). We drove out to the camp of a friend of ours’ near London and shot around this great old mansion that is the centre piece of the property. Alicia was brave out there in her strapless dress… after doing a 15 km run in the morning.

Jessica came to me for some portraits to give out to her family for Christmas this year. Being the resourceful librarian, she found us an inside location at Knox Presbyterian Church (…who doesn’t have a website. Really?) in Woodstock. I have loved the architecture of this great old church since I used to go to youth events there in high school.

Rachel, Tessa, Robyn & Peter

One of the last family portrait sessions of the season: Rachel, Tessa, Robyn & Peter. Peter is a great friend from high school. We have a group of 4 of us who are still close after 20 years.

It was really fun to shoot Peter and his family on a colourful Saturday in late October. I can’t believe how fast the girls are growing up!

Party of Five at Western

I had an amazing afternoon on Monday shooting a Party of Five session with our friend Kristin. Kristin used to work for us at camp where we all called her Mazurka, a camp name she earned because it is a style of Polish folk music and Kristin was taking Music at the University of Western Ontario.

Monday was Kristin’s graduation and she and a group of four friends hired me to come and take pictures of them on their last day of university.

Congratulations to all of you and thanks for a fun afternoon!

Dave had to leave early so the last few shots were of just the women.

Tara & Brad’s Wedding

I had such a great time yesterday at Tara & Brad’s wedding at the Oakwood Resort in Grand Bend. The weather was amazing (considering the forecast was for rain!) and it was so nice for me to get back to Lake Huron.

I have got to figure out a way to wear my kilt to weddings. I’m just worried that I would somehow wreck it.

There were so many cute nieces and nephews!

I must say that the MC’s and the speeches were some of the funniest I’ve heard!
