I want to consume less and create more...

It made my day when I got an email from photographer Clay Enos that said simply: I dig your mantra.

I'm Travis Jon Allison. I'm a photographer from Southern Ontario, Canada and making art has always been my passion. Getting to be a photographer was one of my goals since I first borrowed my mom's Pentax Spotmatic camera and took it with me to camp for the weekend.

I thank you and my clients who have allowed me to share that passion and keep creating. It makes me very happy.

This blog is all part of my creating bug. I use it to keep a record of what's going on with me so that my clients can get to know me better and so my friends and family can keep up with what is going on in our world. One part photo album, one part journal and all me. Thanks for reading!

I hope you enjoy the blog. Please add me into your  feed reader.

Allison & Mark’s July Wedding

Regular Subtlevox blog readers will remember that Allison and Mark had a cool, intimate wedding in May for their immediate family and a few close friends (those pictures can be seen here). On July 18th they had the whole-shebang ceremony with all of their friends and family.

I thought I had written in that last blog post about how Allison & I met… but I guess not. Allison and I (and our siblings) used to ride the same bus to Innerkip Public School. Certainly the one of my brides that I have known the longest – I probably met her just a year or two after my cousin Amy. Thanks to Facebook for putting us back in touch again!

Ashley & Chris’ Wedding

Wow, I have had such a busy summer I didn’t realize that I had missed posting some things to my blog.

It was an honour to be asked to be the photographer at Ashley & Chris’ wedding at the YMCA’s Cedar Glen Camp in Nobleton. I LOVE how relaxed and fun a camp wedding can be! We still talk about how awesome it was for us to have everyone around us for the weekend at our camp wedding.
