It made my day when I got an email from photographer Clay Enos that said simply: I dig your mantra.

I'm Travis Jon Allison. I'm a photographer from Southern Ontario, Canada and making art has always been my passion. Getting to be a photographer was one of my goals since I first borrowed my mom's Pentax Spotmatic camera and took it with me to camp for the weekend.

I thank you and my clients who have allowed me to share that passion and keep creating. It makes me very happy.

This blog is all part of my creating bug. I use it to keep a record of what's going on with me so that my clients can get to know me better and so my friends and family can keep up with what is going on in our world. One part photo album, one part journal and all me. Thanks for reading!

I was honoured to be asked to donate a Family Portrait session at a silent auction this spring to support one of our local schools. Because I spent so much time at camp this summer it wasn’t until September that I was able to meet with Melanie and Peter and their daughters Brittany and Renee. We had a great shoot at their home on a beautiful Friday night.

Thank you for the chance to get to know your family!

Their dog’s name is Travis. I felt like I was being told to “sit” all night long…

Alicia & Conor’s Engagement

I spent a great sunny fall Sunday afternoon in London with Alicia and Conor. Alicia is an long-time friend and canoe-trip buddy of mine (ask her about taking her purse on trip that one time) and it has been so great to get to know Conor in the last few years.

We shot at a couple of well known London landmarks like the Red Roaster in Old South, The bridge behind the courthouse and at Joe Kool’s.
