After a crazy winter (emergency gall bladder surgery and a 10 week recovery) I finally feel like a photographer again.

You can’t tell it from the photos but it was FREEZING this afternoon at Southside Park in Woodstock. It was great to get to keep taking pictures from Ron & Jen – they were one of my first ever weddings and part of my inspiration to go in to the business. I am so excited for the way these pictures turned out.

Natalie & Ryan’s Wedding at The Elm Hurst

Thank you so much to Natalie and Ryan for an amazing day at the Elm Hurst in Ingersoll. I wish it hadn’t rained but it turned out that we had a little slice of time for some outside pictures. It is a great location for a wedding.

Natalie and Ryan are a super couple and it was a real pleasure to spend the day at their wedding.

Erin from The Elm Hurst is a great host for weddings and I know that Natalie and Ryan were really pleased with the service.

I must also say thank you to Amy & Michael for recommending me!

I was honoured to be asked to donate a Family Portrait session at a silent auction this spring to support one of our local schools. Because I spent so much time at camp this summer it wasn’t until September that I was able to meet with Melanie and Peter and their daughters Brittany and Renee. We had a great shoot at their home on a beautiful Friday night.

Thank you for the chance to get to know your family!

Their dog’s name is Travis. I felt like I was being told to “sit” all night long…

Alicia & Conor’s Engagement

I spent a great sunny fall Sunday afternoon in London with Alicia and Conor. Alicia is an long-time friend and canoe-trip buddy of mine (ask her about taking her purse on trip that one time) and it has been so great to get to know Conor in the last few years.

We shot at a couple of well known London landmarks like the Red Roaster in Old South, The bridge behind the courthouse and at Joe Kool’s.

This is Zoe. She’s very head tilty.

It’s going to be an amazing November wedding! We can hardly wait.
